A bright and textured expression of Fiano grown on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
Produced in small quantities from organically grown fruit, this wine captures the freshness of the region whilst remaining unmistakably Fiano - citrus-driven, lightly savoury and quietly complex.
Pale yellow with a youthful green hue, it opens with aromas of lemon, honeysuckle and sea spray. The palate is bright and expressive, showing notes of lime, straw and a subtle twist of orange peel. Fresh acidity provides energy and balance, while a gentle phenolic texture lends depth and structure through the finish.
Vintage Notes
Despite a couple of short heat spikes, 2026 was a mild growing season allowed the fruit to ripen slowly while retaining freshness. Some late season rain around harvest created some challenges, but overall the fruit came in clean and high quality. Harvested in mid-March, the wine shows lifted citrus aromatics, fine texture and bright natural acidity.
Winemaking
Our 2026 Fiano was picked early in the morning to preserve freshness. Whole bunches were added to the press, with te juice pressed off skins immediately. A slow and methodical fermentation with minimal intervention allows the bottle to express site rather than winemaking. Moderate extended lees contact added a subtle texture to support the citrus and floral notes.
